In August 2016 GMC Consulting LLChas signed a sub-consultancy contract for provision of Pyunghwa Engineering Consultants (PEC) Ltd. with sub-consultancy services for 4 Laning of Baku-Shamakhi-Muganli Road Improvement between km 13+290 and km 15+140 Project. The Project was successfully completed in October 2017.

Under the IBRD Loans 7889 AZ, 8602 AZ and IDA Credit 4723 AZ the Contract No. CW-2016-2-SW “4 Laning of the Baku-Shamakhi-Muganli Road km 13+290 to km 15+140” was implemented by the financial assistance provided by the IBRD.
The widening and upgrading of this section of highway (Baku-Shamakhi-Muganli Road from km 13+290 to km 15+140) followed the existing horizontal alignment.
The new road pavement comprised of asphalt concrete surface course, asphalt binder course, asphalt base course, crushed stone base.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 03rd of August 2016 and completion was achieved in September 2017. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 16,809,299.49 AZN (9,887,823.23 USD).
