Project description:
Under the Loan 3144-AZE the Contract was financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Construction Supervision of the Alat-Astara Highway, Jalilabad Intersection to Shorsulu Intersection (km 110+700 to km 80+600) under the Multi-tranche Financing Facility (MFF), Tranche 2.
This section begins at the projected interchange near Jalilabad Station, itself close to a village of Jalilabad on the Masalli-Bilasuvar Road, and ends on the West of Shorsulu village.
The length of the road is 30.1 km with a design speed of 120 Km/hr. and adequate safety measures such as guardrails and New Jersey concrete barriers.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 19th of January 2016 and completion was achieved on October 2018. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 176,553,434.90 AZN (103,854,961.71 USD).
