From December 2015 Kocks Consult Gmbh was provided with consultancy services for Rehabilitation of Mingachevir-Bahramtapa Road (R18), Lot 1, 2 & 3 Projects by GMC Consulting LLC.
The R18, Mingachevir–Bahramtepe Road Project comprised of 3 lots:
- Lot 1 Section – Mingachevir – Mingachevir Station;
- Lot 2 Section – Qaragaci-Bahramtepe;
- Lot 3 Section – Aran – Qaragaci;
Project description:
The Lot 1, Mingachevir – Mingachevir Station Section starts from Mingachevir City in the central part of the country passing through the Mingachevir Railway Station and is a part of the main artery connecting the north and the south. This road is approximately 16.48 kilometers long and is a part of a 156-kilometer existing mainly 2-lane road.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 16th of January 2016 and completion was achieved on the 16th of July 2017. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 33,547,590.79 AZN (19,733,876.934 USD).
The Lot 2, Qaragaci-Bahramtepe Section is the second section of R18, Mingachevir–Bahramtepe Road. This section of the Project road is approximately 111.9 km long.
Civil works contract was implemented under the Conditions of Contract for Construction MDB Harmonised Edition 2010 published by FIDIC.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 29th of April 2016 and completion was achieved on the 31st of October 2018. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 237,643,429.20 AZN (139,790,252.47 USD).
The Lot 3, Aran-Qaragaci Section is the third section of R18, Mingachevir-Bahramtepe Road. This section of the Project road is approximately 25.6 km long.
Civil works contract was implemented under the Conditions of Contract for Construction MDB Harmonised Edition 2010 published by FIDIC.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 16th of November 2016 and completion was achieved on the 27th of December 2017. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 75,912,151.94 AZN (44,654,207.023 USD).
