In January 2018 GMC Consulting LLC has signed an agreement for provision of consultancy services with SPEA Engineering S.p.A as its next Italian business partner for Technical Assistance and Training to Support the Management and Maintenance of the Magistral (M) Road Network Project.

Under the IBRD Loans 7889 AZ, 8602 AZ, IDA Credit 4723 AZ implemented by the financial assistance provided by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the Technical Assistance and Training to Support the Management and Maintenance of the Magistral (M) Road Network.
The scope of the services was that the Consultant will support State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (previously Azeravtoyol OJSC), the MMU and the seven RMUs in the implementation of the reforms/reorganisation of the M road maintenance and operation system in accordance with the design of the relevant component of the Third Highway Project.
The Project Commenced in December 2017 and completed in December 2019. The Contract Price was 3,981,910.00 AZN (2,342,300.00 USD).
