Under the IBRD Loans 7889 AZ and 8602 AZ and IDA Credit 4723 AZ the Contract No. CW 2016-3 was financed by the IBRD for the 4 Laning of the Baku-Shamakhi-Muganli Road from km 91.0 to km 107.0, Azerbaijan Highway Project Third Project.
The civil works for widening and upgrading the section from km 91 to km 107 follows the existing horizontal alignment with the exception of limited realignments to improve geometric characteristics and safety.
The Project Commencement date was established as the 27th of December 2017 and completion was achieved on the 29th of December 2019. The approved final Contract Price of Civil Works was 116,794,274.57 AZN (68,702,514.45 USD).
